MEET DICK SULLIVAN

Business Executive Coach

After rapidly rising to the Vice President position at a fortune 100 company in the beginning of his career, Dick was given a region that was losing money. To turn the region around required some “out of the box” thinking.  To cut the overhead by 4 million dollars, all warehousing and buying Staff was cut and shifted to a nearby region.   Having been somewhat successful in a large corporation,  Dick decided to open his own business, a venture that stumbled. Very different skills In running a large corporation versus a small business. Wearing all the hats was very different than delegating to a group of staff people. To turn things around, Dick reached out to some of his friends who had been successful in business, and they gave him some valuable advice that had business sailing within a year.

Dick’s business was saved by the advice of experienced business people, and because of that, Dick recognized the value of coaching. So, Dick decided to become a business coach because he knew what it was like to work hard for no return, and he knew that the only reason his business made a turnaround was because of the advice he received. Now, Dick has coached over 70 companies and has used his experiences to quickly identify a company’s needs and enable owners to achieve their vision.

Testimonials

Dick Sullivan has been our business coach for 6 years. The initial meetings were tough on us because it exposed our weaknesses and shortcomings but through hard work and effort Dick worked through those weaknesses and shortcomings. We spent months creating procedures and streamlined our manufacturing processes. Dick studied our profit and loss statements and dug deep into why certain jobs were more profitable than others which helped us streamline our bidding and focus on our strengths. We created a bidding platform that revolutionized our bidding process. Hiring a business coach entails a lot of hard work and willingness to change, but if you are up to the task, I would unconditionally recommend Dick.

Ian Hartert, Hartert-Russell LLC

Dick has been a powerful influence in the growth of my company over the last 10 years. His deep pool of experience and his clear, direct communication have helped steer us away from dangers we otherwise wouldn’t see. Further his emphasis on using metrics for management of the business has allowed us to move from a mom and pop into a profitable business that I can manage with about 3-4 hours per week of my time.

Brad Hill, Local Search Masters

“I brought Dick on board to help me take an outsider’s look at the company, the upper management group and the financial health of the company. I wanted to prepare the company for a possible sale and to exit from day to day oversight. Through Dick’s feedback and recommendations, the business was in great condition for a possible sale. When buyers came to look, they offered some very satisfactory prices for the company. Because of Dick’s experience, he was able to ask the right questions that enable me to prepare the company for a successful sale.”

Michael Cannon, Former CEO, now board chairman of 4Wall Entertainment
